Joining me on Episode 5 is my friend Amira. Amira is a Child and Youth Worker and her day is revolved around working with children who require support with behaviour within a school board. She is an advocate for mental health, human rights and social justice. By working with marginalized individuals, she wants to provide equitable ways for them to achieve success inside and outside the classroom. In today’s episode, Amira and I explored our experiences with having hyphenated identities and navigating independence as young women.
