KNOW THE GUEST: Sherra Pierre-March is a senior technology, digital transformation, and streaming media executive with over 30 years of experience leading platform modernization, AI-enabled innovation, and large-scale digital ecosystems across Media & Entertainment and global enterprises. She currently serves as Senior Director of Strategy and Operations, Streaming Media at Paramount Global, where she leads enterprise initiatives shaping the future of OTT, FAST, and Direct-to-Consumer platforms. Her work spans platform strategy, Technology Operations Management (TOM), portfolio governance, and AI integration—driving operational efficiency, monetization readiness, and scalable content delivery across CBS News, Sports, and Entertainment. Sherra is widely recognized for her ability to translate vision into execution. She builds disciplined operating models and governance frameworks that improve delivery predictability, reduce execution risk, and align product, engineering, and operations with measurable business outcomes. Her leadership has supported high-velocity platform launches, global expansion efforts, and complex, multi-stakeholder ecosystems. A pioneer in applied AI transformation, Sherra advises and leads organizations in embedding AI across media workflows—automating metadata enrichment, content packaging, captioning, cue-point generation, and content intelligence. Her approach focuses on moving AI from experimentation to scaled operational impact, with clear governance, accountability, and ROI. In addition to her corporate leadership, Sherra is an entrepreneur and founder of Affluid LLC, the parent company of DIGAZI, a cloud-based digital media framework that manages content from ideation through monetization. DIGAZI has powered OTT streaming solutions for broadcasters across the Caribbean and Central America, demonstrating Sherra’s ability to scale technology across diverse and emerging markets. She also founded CbeanMedia.tv, an OTT services provider supporting live streaming, VOD, and monetization for broadcasters and content owners. Her career includes senior leadership roles at NBCUniversal (Peacock), where she led international end-to-end platform delivery; Discovery Communications, overseeing client engineering and technical program management; and Pfizer, where she spent six years leading global digital solutions and emerging technology initiatives. Earlier in her career, Sherra held influential CIO and CTO roles at Sesame Workshop, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and Pearson, and served as Project Director of Advanced Technology at Viacom—shaping early digital content, DAM, and enterprise media platforms. Sherra is also a respected educator and thought leader. She has served as an Adjunct Professor at Brown University in the Master’s in Technology Leadership program and has been a featured speaker at industry forums including the DAM Symposium, Gilbane Digital Content Conferences, IBM CXO Leadership Forums, and Gartner-adjacent technology events. She is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (EMMYs), Advanced Media Committee. Beyond technology leadership, Sherra is a certified 200-hour Hatha Yoga instructor, poet, and performing member of the Alvin Ailey Extension and Ailey Edge (Whitney Performance). Through her creative platform #sherratruth, she explores the intersection of technology, spirit, and artistry—bringing a rare, multidimensional perspective to leadership and innovation.
