California is a failed experiment in big government. The state pours huge amounts of money and resources into liberal pet projects like subsidies for illegal immigrants, DE&I programs and green energy policies, and then when a crisis hits, the government is like a deer in headlights. Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass should be ashamed for how she is handling the wildfires tearing through the city. Then, liberal-run New York City is implementing a new congestion toll, which taxes people for traveling though the southern part of Manhattan during certain times of the week.
