Descripción

Faithful listeners, this week is a sportsman spotlight episode. Joel Chilcote was able to sit down with me and cover some of the many experiences and opinions he has in our  great state. Joel is local to me and absolutely obsessed with being in the outdoors. He is an avid Fly fisherman and loves to talk tying flies. We also cover a good bit on second season black powder flintlock in our great state. This episode will have you nodding your head in agreeance with many of the topics we cover. We hope you enjoy our conversation as much as we did!

EP.46 American Marten Restoration w/ Tom Keller Furbearer Biologist of the Pennsylvania Game Commission

Faithful listeners prepare your ears for a educational epsidoe. After many request from you listeners to cover question's on the American Marten, we are lucky to have our questions answered. Tom Keller Furbearer Biologist of the Pennsylvania Game Commission has been spearheading the efforts for reintroduction of the American Marten. Tom was able to grace us with some time and answer many questions on the matter. Tom has been working very hard to educate the public and I believe you will enjoy what he has to say. We cover the topics that most want to know ie, Impact on Turkey population and upland bird. Also we cover prime locations for reintroduction and the plans on release. Thank you for listening. For any unanswered questions you can contact myself or Tom.
