Ep 6 - Does Recycling Actually Work in Malaysia?

In this episode full of shockers, Aaron Lai, co-founder of Eco Solidwaste Park, a waste management company that helps industrial factories recover as many recyclable materials from their waste as possible, and a veteran in the recycling space, tells us of what happens to the items in your recycling bin. Some of the most shocking things we learned include: * Most recyclables from most condominiums in Malaysia goes to the landfill. * Glass from most households won't be recycled because it's cheaper to create new glass. Aaron goes on to explain to us what happens to your recyclables – from the moment you place them in your recyclable bins, and its eventual journey through Malaysia's recycling system. And what can you do to improve the situation in your housing area wherever you are in Malaysia.
