Jake Zimmer on becoming the Bruins PA Announcer + more | Episode 8
Today I am joined by a good friend of mine Jake Zimmer. Jake has been working in the sports industry for a long time, dating all the way back to calling high school games. However, his love for it started way back when he was just a kid, listening to the Yankees on the radio. His broadcasting has taken him from his alma mater Bryant University, to a large collection of schools across the Northeast, and all the way to the Boston Bruins and the Premier Lacrosse League, where he currently works in Public Address Announcing duties. You can also hear Jake jumping in on play-by-play roles across the region when he can. During this episode, Jake talks about his broadcasting history, his current work with the Bruins and the PLL, and the lessons he's learned along the way.
