In this episode of Gen X Trucking with The Mighty Philbert, we take a look at the Motor Carrier Act of 1980 and how it transformed the trucking industry forever. We'll explore the rise of trucking culture in the 1970s, the deregulation era, falling freight rates, changing driver pay, and the growing pressures that modern drivers face.
