The intent was to eliminate some of the archaic references which confuse and confound our modern sensibilities. My Second Awakening

When I found that I no longer fit the mold of my fundamentalist upbringing I set out to find my place in spirituality. Along the way I found groups and philosophies which made sense to me but still I had lingering doubts which have led me to my second awakening. This time I am unlearning most of what I thought I knew and am growing to appreciate my own divinity and power. The realization that our mind is capable of so much we don't understand is quite an awakening. Answers are no longer my goal but better questions are very much welcome. Come along as I learn and unlearn how to proceed on this journey.

Can We Be Spiritual And Political?

Sometimes folks assume that in order to be living aa spiritual life we must avoid political entanglements. We often find that in our present climate morality and compassion become politicized so we may be called upon to defend our position. Recognizing and accepting our political responsibilities can be challenging but that is no reason to ignore them or assume someone else will step up.

What is Truth?

In this episode we begin to question all the things we have held as "truth". What do we need to unlearn in order to embrace our personal truth? How is unlearning key to becoming more in tune with our spiritual destiny?

Is Fear Our Motivator

Fear is a powerful motivator which many in power seek to use to keep the general populace in servitude. In future episodes we sill be looking at ways to break the cycle which held us and many of our ancestors prisoners in our own minds.
