We started this podcast to publicly challenge our own narratives and self-censorship. We also did it to compel our audience to think and do the same. This is the most challenging episode yet. We are pretty much airing one of our private phone conversations. I think it's pretty lit because I am actually nervous about it. Gotta mean it's great. EP 5 FEMINISM IS THE NEW BLACK

After a long hiatus, Preast and Shala return to The Pxwers That Be with a new show format as they attempt to learn the true meaning of Feminism. In this episode the fellas are joined by their friends, Tish and Pauline, two women from very different backgrounds with strong opinions and sharp wit. The ladies arrive ready to address Preast's problematic statements and Shala's love of clog wearing women mentioned in episode three (Havin Relations). Also discussed is the idea that there is a gap between Black Feminist and white feminism. In this ep Preast and Shala confront their own male privilege and misogyny while finding common ground with their guest by acknowledging the toxic effects of the patriarchy on everyone at the table.
