To All the Ex-Best Friends We’ve Had Before

Lara Jean Covey was attention seeking and too perfect for her own good. Just like us. But unlike Lara Jean, we don’t have any cute love letters to share, partly because we have no ex-lovers, and partly because Charlotte’s dyslexic and can’t write. So instead, we’ve decided to recite verbal letters to our Ex-Best-Friends - no beef, just some very mature self reflection. From unexpected friendship endings, to the importance of having different ‘types’ of friends, hear us talk about the ups and downs of our friendships over the years, and how we’ve come to deal with the god forbidden f word. New Year, New Podcast, Same Sad Little Life (Jane)

2020 was the shitshow nobody bought tickets for. I’d rather walk naked around my uni SU singing a JoJo Siwa song than experience that little ‘performance’ again. So what better way to remember the 3 months of the year that did provide mild entertainment, than to turn our mega-cringe annual reflection into a 27 minute argument about who is in fact the more boring human being. We discuss our 2020 accomplishments (spoiler alert, there aren’t many) and brutally judge each other for the pitiful resolutions we’re setting out to achieve. If anything, I think we can agree the year was ‘character building’… but then so was Shane Dawson getting cancelled and he still hasn’t recovered so, guess we’ll wait and see…
