Descripción

SUITS. FOOTBALL. PUBS. RUNNING. HAIRCUTS. PRACTICAL FISHING KEEPING. THE CORRECT SPELLING OF JEHOVAH. JUNKIES. All bases covered in this sport-heavy episode as the team head to Allotment in central Manchester. Aside from all the laddy-lad sport banter, Tom, Dom, Domm and Beck still found time to name (and theme) their imaginary pubs, come clean about their biggest lies and say something potentially libellous about indie band The View. Plus, live a day in the life of the hardest working man in Scottish football; Ronnie Forsyth. Come on in and have a Grorbnorsch!

Episode 10 - Tinker. Tailor. Soldier. Taxidermist. (Or, A Million Things To Do With Mackerel)

Parts, labour, VAT, goodwill. Do you add goodwill to a taxidermy transaction? Anyway, come join Beck, Ant, Dom and amateur taxidermy valuer Alex in The Metropolitan as we discuss this and many other important topics. For example, why did Dom keep going back to a barber that routinely coughed in his face? Found out how Beck plans to get invited on secret missions and which American TV presenter Dom wants to be as the Team discuss what trades they would go into. Lots of dead animal chat in this one; hear about the different banana-opening techniques that dogs and monkeys have, whether or not Baloo is an accurate depiction of a bear and how easy it is to confuse a large dog with a Gorilla. Grow up.

Episode 09 - Sponsored by Carr's Pasties (Or, Non-Denominational Chocolate Holiday Island)

Old timers Beck, Dom & Tom are joined by débutantes Sam (he's from "the South") and Nathan (he's from "Bolton") as the team head to 54 Thomas Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Lots of potential conflicts resolved in this one: Who will win the war on Easter? Who would win in a war between Spain and England? What about between Bolton and Cornwall? Ok, what about between Gregg's and Carr's Pasties? Well, that last one is a non-contest. Plus, we learn about the highs and lows of playing Jenga (Sam nearly died, but Beck got a date!) and the team name their début albums. Last but not least, since it's May Day, we hear about the team's tales of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. RIP Linda (Jan 2015-Feb 2017)
