Our guest today is Juni Singh, an economist who specializes in behavioural economics, networks and developmental economics. Juni has had a rich and international scientific career: She holds a PhD from the Paris School of Economics; she was a researcher at MIT J-PAL and she is an incoming postdoc at CalTech. Besides academic research, Juni has also been a Researcher and Consultant at the World Bank where she worked on framing policy for global challenges. In this conversation, Juni breaks down lab-on-the-field experiments in behavioural and network economics. She explains their long-term impact in understanding technology adoption, peer monitoring and long-term policymaking. She also shares how economics research is evolving to meet the challenges of the future – particularly those especially raised during the pandemic. Follow us here for updates!
