He prays that Christ would dwell in our hearts through faith and that we would know the immeasurable love of Christ—a love wider, deeper, and greater than we can fully comprehend. The passage ends with a soaring reminder that our God is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or imagine.

Psalm 74 "Hope in Ruins" (Monday 6/1/26)

Psalm 74 is a prayer from the ashes, a cry to God in the aftermath of devastation, when the temple has been destroyed, and heaven feels silent. Yet in the middle of grief, the psalmist remembers the God who once parted the sea, rules over creation, and remains faithful to His covenant. This psalm teaches us that even when life feels ruined, and God seems distant, faith keeps praying, remembering, and hoping.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 "One Body United in Christ" (Thursday 5/28/26)

In First Epistle to the Corinthians 12:12–27, Paul reminds us that the church is not just a gathering of individuals but one body united in Christ, with every member deeply connected to the others. No Christian is unnecessary, unnoticed, or unimportant—each person has been given a place and purpose by God for the good of the whole body. When one member suffers, we all suffer; when one rejoices, we all rejoice, because we belong to one another as the body of Christ.

John 17:20-23 "Be United in Love" (Wednesday 5/26/26)

In John 17:20–23, Jesus prays not only for his first disciples, but for all who would believe in him through their message—including us. His prayer is that his people would be one, united in the love of God, so that the world may see in the church a witness to the truth of Jesus Christ. This passage reminds us that Christian unity is not merely about getting along, but about sharing in the life of God and reflecting his love before the world.

Ephesians 2:11-22 "A New Humanity" (Tuesday 5/26/26)

Ephesians 2:11–22 is a beautiful picture of what Christ has accomplished through the cross: those who were once far off have been brought near to God and to one another through His blood. Jesus tears down every wall of hostility and creates one new people—united in peace, grace, and belonging. In Christ, we are no longer strangers or outsiders, but members of God’s family and part of His dwelling place in the Spirit.
