In the middle of a world war, two Texas lovebirds tied the knot and embarked on a journey that would leave an impact on the city of Georgetown for decades. When J.D. Thomas unexpectedly passes away, Laura Thomas is left with five children to provide for and no knowledge about business. Still, she rolls up her sleeves and provides not only for her family, but also her community in the process.

In today's epsiode, we explore the lives of Robert McAlpin Williamson, the namesake of Williamson County, and George Washington Glasscock - namesake and land donor of Georgetown, Texas.
