It comes with responsibility, expectations, and pressure but not always the same level of authority or respect. In this episode, I talk about what that role actually looks like, why it can be so complicated, and how it impacts both the man stepping into it and the kid experiencing it. I also share some personal perspective from growing up in that kind of situation; what worked, what didn’t, and what stuck with me over time.
