Cicely McClennon talks about her daughter's sexual assault by another African American youth and other negative vices within the diaspora community in Ghana including fraud , land scams , prostitution , sexual immorality , debauchery , illegal substance trade (drug trade) etc. She also emphasizes on the need for the diaspora to come together to build and support each other instead of working individually . She stresses on the fact that organizations like The African American Association of Ghana and others are not serving their purpose well and they need to step up their game to put in place measures to support and protect the diaspora in Ghana.

Lucrecia P. Johnson, Esq. LL.M. brings a breadth of legal experience to her position as the managing attorney and founder of LPJ Legal, a law firm based in Washington, DC.  As a managing attorney, she represents local and international clients in all aspects of business law and real estate law, both transactional and litigation. She has found a niche in highly regulated industries including government contractors, developers and construction.  Prior to founding LPJ Legal PLLC, Ms. Johnson worked as a corporate litigation attorney in a large law firm based in Washington, DC. She has also worked as an Attorney in Maryland, litigating a variety of matters to include business, bankruptcy, and special education.  Coupled with her professional career, Ms. Johnson is also active in her local community, including being the immediate past Chair of the Washington Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division and the immediate past Chairperson of the board of directors at Collaborative Solutions for Communities, where she still remains on the Board.  Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Juris Doctor from Elon University, and a Master of Laws in Trial Advocacy from American University Washington College of Law.
