Kick starting the month of March is our conversation with Allison Bowers! Allison hails from Boston but has been living and (very busily) working in the Utica area for a over 3 years now. If you had a dartboard with all healthcare professionals distinguished job titles, you would most likely hit on one of hers, including MPH, RD, LDN, & CDN. In this discussion we focus on runners diets. More specifically, three employees of the store, myself, Josh Belisle, and introducing Sammy Lee Bennett. We recorded our daily eating habits for a 3 day period and had Allison pour over the results...giving us some eye opening stats, and ways to improve our habits to increase performance. I highly suggest you get a pen and paper and get ready to write down notes, because I sure have while editing this conversation. Episode 2: A Table for Four, Please.

Our 1st of many round table discussions on anything and everything! This episode features Josh Belisle- co-owner of The Sneaker Store, our 1st returning guest, John Nicotera, Suneed Ahmed- a part-timer here at the store and aspiring collegiate coach, and of course myself. We attempted to have some sort of talking points going in, but honestly, I wanted us to just chat and see where the conversation brought us. In this episode we each looked back on the year that was 2020, talked some coaching and training advise, nerded out on some of our favorite shoes, and at one point, were just in awe of Suneed's knowledge of local fast food menus.  We had an absolute blast recording this, and we will certainly have more of these types of episodes in the future, so enjoy!
