In the first part of our series on the expedition the party prepare and finally depart on an adventure of a lifetime, across undocumented lands, on a mission from the President himself. After reading Terrance McKenna's book "Food of the Gods" it gave me a lot to think about and even more to say. The Stoned Ape Theory has fascinated me since I fist heard about it. Not that I completely agree with all that he hypothesises I do think it is an interesting idea and good attempt at thinking outside the box about how early man came to be. Or could have. It's more of a what if than an actual theory but an exciting what if. Let's relax, smoke one, and talk about why we are the way we are...
