The Silent Struggle of SEN Children in School

When You Realise School Isn’t Working for Your Child

There is often a quiet moment when something shifts. Not because a parent is looking for something radical or different, but because what they are seeing in front of them simply does not feel right for their child. A child who is anxious, overwhelmed, withdrawing, or slowly losing their spark. A feeling that no longer passes, even when you try to reassure yourself that this is “just how school is.” In this first episode of The SY-ED Way, we share our own journey of realising that school was not the right fit for our child, and how that realisation changed everything.
