On the afternoon of Saturday January the 24th 1998, 30 year old James Harmon left his girlfriend's home in Romford in Essex to go and see a friend. He never returned and his car was later found abandoned. In March 2024, a woman's body was recovered from the River Mersey close to Chorlton Water Park in South Manchester.
