A tragic car accident and resulting traumatic brain injury set the stage for the trials and magic that are the foundation of my current life journey. Peyoté trips, talking trees and haunted houses are the norm in my young life, setting the stage for me to question my mental health as an adult. The calling of the non-ordinary realms after my mother’s suicide and eventual initiation into shamanism, have brought my life full circle...at least for now. Is the walk around the medicine wheel ever really complete? My guess is, no; not even when we step off the Good Red Road into the Blue.
