In our second "PLAYERS EDITION" episode of the Won Shot Audio Experience podcast, Coach Drew interviews 2021 PG Wesley Cardet of Northeast HS and Team Breakdown. We get up close and personal with the #3 Ranked Player in Florida and Broward County/Miami Herald 1st Team All-County Point Guard. Wes dives into his relationship with Coach Zach Gillion and how Coach Zach introduced him to the game early on in his childhood. Wesley breaks down his game and tells us his on-court strengths & weaknesses. He also shares with us his secret on how he's become the #30th Ranked prospect in the nation. At such a young age, Wesley is one of the hardest working players I've ever met. With scholarship offers pouring in from left to right, its no secret that this young man has a very bright future in the game. We finish the podcast with who Wes believes is the best player(s) in Broward (besides himself) and then ask him which team he thinks poses the biggest threat to stopping Northeast on a state title run. Brent discusses the early childhood basketball rivalry he had with his older brother(Currently plays at Johnson & Wales, RI). He then critiques his own game and breaks downs his strengths & weaknesses on the basketball court. We dive into Brents CRAZY summer routine where he wakes up at 6am and plays ball until 1am! Brent ANNOUNCES to the podcast FIRST his commitment to the Citadel and tells of future goals beyond college.
