This week’s episode is all about the booming sexual wellness industry. More of us are paying attention to our sexual health, and the pandemic has likely added to that. My guest, Felicia Stokes, owner of Luxurious Wellniss is someone I met during the pandemic. Her business is both online and brick and mortar — both destinations are wildly unique and expertly curated to address your entire wellbeing. Luxurious Wellniss offers a range of products unlike anything I’v seen before and the fact that 90% of them are black and/or women-owned is astonishing. Felicia, also a licensed aesthetician, was the perfect guest to break down what a muff mask is (yep, I’m talking masking the muff) and also discusses unisex products that help with ingrown hairs and dark spots below the waist. Welcome to the very first episode of This That Beauty, the podcast! As a life-long beauty nerd I’ve been sharing my knowledge and behind the scenes access via my blog [http://thisthatbeauty.com], published editorial, my social audience and regular appearances on television over the past 15 years – so I thought it was about time I shared even more, with a podcast. Growing up I saw that so many people around me had so much access, to so many things, and I wondered: ‘why don’t I have that access?’ I always knew, once I gained access to the beauty world, I would be sure to share it and this podcast is the perfect way to take it to the next level. In this first episode I share the news of the pod with my friends and honestly, the love is real! Over the coming episodes I’ll be discussing beauty and all of its lovely adjacencies: touching on life in the beauty space and sharing access to my world as a Beauty Entrepreneur. Also, sexual wellness (the industry is booming), my empties, industry friends, and so much more. Oh, and there's a segment where I’ll enlist my daughter, Phoebe, to help showcase Mommy & Me stuff, like skincare we both use and love.
