She began her career as a pediatric nurse at CHOP. Though she left to move into hospital administration, she returned to CHOP in 1995, and has since held a number of leadership positions, advancing from Vice President to Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President to Chief Operating Officer to President. She became CEO in 2015. Alongside host Meryl Cohen, they discuss her career trajectory and the power of saying "yes" to challenges and opportunities alike. They discuss how PennMedicine and CHOP have grown and improved, emphasizing that children's healthcare is the ultimate investment in the future. They look to the future of CHOP, itself, and Ms. Bell shares what is next for the hospital. They also talk about the key role faculty play in the present and future of children's healthcare here.
