Melissa Etheridge has gone from Leavenworth, Kansas to the Academy Awards in Hollywood. She won an Oscar in 2006 for her original song 'I Need to Wake Up' from the documentary 'An Inconvenient Truth.' Then came the Vanity Fair party where she shared left-handed cigarettes with some Hollywood icons--great story! Melissa and I are huge Springsteen fans and we share out first Bruce show memories. Her excellent new album 'Rise' includes an incredible duet with Chris Stapleton. Enjoy!
