Tower Healing
Recorded back in October, this episode features a deep and evolving conversation with Lauren Gilhula from Living on Lemonade. What begins as a discussion about grief and loss gradually unfolds into a much wider exploration of spirituality, resilience, and the tools that help us navigate life’s most difficult seasons. Lauren and I talk about how major life changes and loss can become catalysts for spiritual awakening, and how practices like breathwork, nervous system regulation, and resilience tools (including cold plunges and the Wim Hof method) can help us learn to breathe through discomfort, pain, and emotional dysregulation. We also explore the idea of collecting tools for different seasons of life, strengthening our intuition by getting out of our heads and back into our bodies, and approaching life more like an experiment, where challenges become the “weights” that strengthen our inner world rather than something to bypass. Ultimately, this conversation touches on the shift from reacting to life to becoming more self-led: learning to trust our internal guidance, finding belonging by showing up as we truly are, and allowing the human experience ... even the hard parts... to shape and strengthen the soul. A thoughtful and wide-ranging conversation about grief, growth, intuition, and what it means to move through life with curiosity, resilience, and self-trust.
