Descripción

Earl is an ambitious friend. He is bold and says what he thinks, which makes for fun conversation. After Earl and I got off the podcast, we ended up chatting for 2+ hours about life. Funny what can happen when two people agree that staying off the phone and being intentional can do. Having Earl on was a great time. We chatted a lot about his role models, both of his grandfathers. He learned confidence and how to keep life fun through them. He has gained great knowledge and is very adamant on doing his part to keep the environment clean. Which makes me think, it's time for me to start doing mine. Earl talks about a couple of traits he'd like to grow in as well as what a successful life looks like to him. Enjoy!

episode #3 - Matt Juve artwork

#3 - Matt Juve

Matt Juve is a carpenter by trade and loves his job. He loves it so much that it's also his side hobby. Not many people have loved their job enough to make it their hobby when they get home from an 8 hour day. Matt is the owner of Juve Constructions, LLC. His business he started within the last two years and has been very focused on growing since he opened it. It was fun to chat with Matt about his dreams for his company, as well as his future role within the business. Matt got his bachelor's degree at North Central University in Minneapolis. He switched his major a few times and settled on getting a degree in business. Before you scratch your head asking why a carpenter got his degree, you should hear his story. Matt played baseball at North Central also. And he'd be the first to tell you, they lost.... a lot. Matt has a great perspective on what he learned from the "losing" culture he was in. He talked about leadership traits that were absent but that he learned through those absences. This was a great conversation with a great friend. Enjoy.

episode #2 - Max Anderson artwork

#2 - Max Anderson

Max Anderson is one of the most interesting guys to know. To be honest, it's kind of crazy how we're friends. We grew up in completely different environments. Max grew up in a small town - raising pigs, chopping wood and shooting guns. I didn't shoot a gun until a few years ago.... with him. As good of friends as Max and I are, it was awesome to hear him dive into topics we don't always discuss. On this episode, we talked about his experiences traveling and the challenging part of finding a community outside of home. We also chat about Max's ski coaching job. The joys and hardships of coaching and the responsibility of being a role model through it all. We discuss areas Max wants to grow characteristics-wise, heck, Max even opens up his journal to talk about that one. Finally, Max opens up about what his view of a successful life is, I hope you enjoy this episode!
