When God declared creation good, He wasn't simply saying it was pleasant—He was recognizing that it was functioning according to His design and purpose. The same is true for us. We are most "good" when our lives are aligned with the intentions of our Creator. Through Scripture, personal stories, and practical examples, this sermon challenges us to lay down our need for control, stop "casting lots" with our own plans and preferences, and trust the Lord to direct our paths. Pentecost Sunday - Homecoming 2026

On this special Pentecost Sunday + Homecoming gathering at True North Church, we explored why it is no coincidence these two moments landed together. From Genesis 1 to Acts 2, we traced the movement of the Holy Spirit across Scripture and discovered that the same Spirit who hovered over the waters in creation now lives within believers today. This message challenges the truth that the Holy Spirit is NOT only for “church moments” but He empowers believers in the day to day practical parts of our lives as well.
