Guest mixologists Mxology Shay and Gabby Perret join us for our annual end-of-the-year roundtable, where we shamelessly pander to the algorithm by slowly and repeatedly enunciating the titles of our favorite singles, EPs, albums, and artists of 2023. Today we're giving thanks to the act that has united communities, broken boundaries, and salvaged many a holiday season since the dawn of time: day drinking. Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Chris LaRocca joins us at the bar today as we get to the square root of the math rock genre, construct a biopic dream cast, and discuss his debut album, i cried my eyes out. Gotta lock in that 'cool cousin' slot before it's too late. *Please drink responsibly* Manic Maple * 2oz Bourbon * 3/4 oz of Lemon Juice * 1/2 oz of Maple Syrup * Ginger Beer * Cinnamon * Nutmeg * Cinnamon Stick * Lemon Slice 1. Shake bourbon, lemon juice, and maple syrup with ice. 2. Strain into rocks glass with ice. 3. Top with ginger beer. 4. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg to taste. 5.
