TuuTu Talks – Tape 1: “Totally Me” Episode Notes In this very first episode of TuuTu Talks, I finally say the things I’ve always held back. It’s just me, my blunt, my thoughts, and my truth. I recorded this late at night, unable to sleep, overwhelmed with feelings I couldn’t ignore. This space is for the quiet, shy version of me who rarely gets to speak—but here, I do. And I do it honestly. I talk about what it means to be a Trans African woman in this world—how exhausting it is to constantly fight for respect, love, and understanding. I open up about my struggles with depression, trauma, and the emotional chaos that comes with trying to heal while surviving. I reflect on relationships, both romantic and personal, where I’ve felt unseen, used, or taken for granted. But I’m also learning to set boundaries, walk away from what doesn’t serve me, and stop tolerating anything that makes me shrink. This episode is messy, emotional, funny in moments, and fully me. I touch on big dreams—creating, expressing, building a life that reflects my soul—and the frustration of growing up without access to the information or freedom to explore myself fully. TuuTu Talks isn’t polished. It’s real. It’s the space where I smoke, talk, and try to make sense of this journey I’m on—emotionally, spiritually, financially, and creatively. If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing too much just to be understood, or that you’re too soft for the world but too real to stay silent, this space is for you. You’re not alone. And neither am I.

After smoking three-quarters of a blunt on an empty stomach (don’t judge, summer body loading), I dive into a wild storytime, reflect on personal growth, and share my thoughts on navigating self-discovery in NYC. Topics Covered: 🔹 Situationships & Boundaries – Knowing when to walk away. 🔹 Self-Worth – Realizing I deserve more and won’t settle. 🔹 Mental Health & Therapy – The importance of seeking help. 🔹 Dating & Sex – The struggles of attraction and expectations. 🔹 Life in NYC – The chaotic beauty of this city. Memorable Quotes: 💬 “If you don’t know who you are, you don’t even know what you really like.” 💬 “Have goals, and accomplish them. Make that your purpose.” 💬 “I’m a bad bitch, a classic bitch, and a bougie bitch – period.” A raw, real, and slightly chaotic episode—buckle up. 🚀 Listen now on
