Patty shares what spring planting season looks like on the farm right now, including Drive Your Tractor to School Day, growing boys, and the bittersweet reality of watching your kids become independent. Amy opens up about making a big childcare transition for next year and the mental spiral that can come with motherhood changes and wanting your kids to be okay.  The conversation turns into an honest chat about anxiety, overthinking, and how easy it is to replay fears in our minds. We talk about practical ways to try to fight worry, from writing things down and interrupting anxious thoughts to leaning into prayer, truth, and trusting that God has always provided before and will again.  There’s also discussion around parenting older kids, letting go a little at a time, protecting your peace, and remembering that most of what we worry about never actually happens anyway.
