Two Filthy Horrors
Happy June! Tonight, we begin at the haunted grounds of Cowpens National Battlefield, where one of the most pivotal battles of the American Revolution may have left behind more than just history. Visitors and paranormal investigators have reported eerie lights drifting through the fields, disembodied voices in the dark, and phantom riders appearing near the old battleground before vanishing without a trace. Some believe the energy of the brutal 1781 battle still lingers, replaying itself in the silence of the Carolina night. Then we head north to the infamous fields of Manassas National Battlefield Park in Virginia, where two devastating Civil War battles claimed thousands of lives. Witnesses have described hearing distant cannon fire, ghostly drumbeats, and the cries of wounded soldiers echoing through the woods long after sunset. At locations like Henry Hill and the Stone House hospital, shadow figures and apparitions in Civil War uniforms are said to roam the battlefield, as if the war never truly ended. Are these simply legends born from tragedy, or do the dead still march where so many fell? Keep your lantern lit and stay close… because some battlefields never stop fighting.
