Umbrella Therapy
A new wee body scan episode as I have seen an increase of downloads for the last one and wanted to make a new one with a wee bit less blethering.

Out of your mind and in to your body: winter edition
Out of your mind and in to your body
A wee said to be 10min ended up being 28min Guided Body Scan. An intentional space to feel and connect. In my work as a therapist, alongside being a human in a wild world, I'm seeing a swirling angst and deep need to slow down and gently connect, but how? Sometimes having a wee companion to journey us through that connection can be so helpful. That knowing helped inspire me to dust off thee old yoga nidra/mindfulness body scan practice... if you have a wee listen I hope you take something from the process. PS "out of your mind and in to your body" quoted from Savannah Sachdev
What happens when trauma, neurodivergence, and the inner critic collide...

“What we don’t work on internally can show in everything we do as a society” relational conflict, systemic oppression, burnout with Jen Goff
What a joy to connect with Jen. This episode explored many topics including our experiences of the person-centred approach and the impact of working in community/care systems that are highly skilled but also come with a high risk of vicarious trauma or burnout. "it's giving stage seven of the therapeutic process" exploring fluidity, self-accepting with Jen Goff
What a joy to connect with Jen. We had pre-planned questions that we almost left to move fluidly and naturally with the themes that came up for us. This episode explored Jens work, they’re therapeutic approach, language, relationship anarchy and so much more. I can't thank Jen enough for they’re time, thoughtfulness and compassionate space holding.
