Descripción

This episode examines the current state of the evidence in the case of Luigi Mangione who was charged with the murder of Brian Thompson. Why did the Biden administration suddenly step in to file federal charges on a New York state law case that’s going to be inherited by President Trump in less than a month? If the government wants us to believe Luigi did it, why wouldn’t they immediately show us the letter and notebook in which they claim Luigi admitted guilt or the body cam footage that shows us exactly what was found on Luigi when he was arrested? And if he admitted it in writing, as the government claims, why did he then deny it when the police brought him to court? And on the way into court, why would the police throw Luigi against a wall and silence him instead of letting him speak? The government claims that Luigi didn’t show his face for ten full days while in New York. How do they know that? And if that’s true, let’s see all the surveillance video of the masked person they claim is Luigi? And let’s see all the video of Brian Thompson in New York prior to his death. Finally, if Luigi murdered someone on December 4, 2024, why does the media need to tell us that Luigi once quoted Krishnamurti on social media? If the government needs to bring up that Luigi admired an Indian philosopher and spiritual leader who died in 1986, maybe that means the government can’t prove its case based solely on the evidence.
