The Mud Run (Tough Mudder)

I’m sitting at work listening to younger coworkers hype up their upcoming Tough Mudder, and before I know it, I’m doing what every aging athlete does: I start talking about my old marathons, triathlons, and “back in the day” toughness, like my joints didn’t get the memo.    Then the conversation shifts from storytelling to planning.
