Genesis 7 is the account of the Flood and through that account there are amazing testimonies that point towards Christ's sacrifice and grace upon those who call upon His name and a look to the future judgement that is coming upon the world. This week join Jacob as he heads into Job 2 and talks about Job's testing 2.0. In chapter 2 we read about Job's continuing persecution from the "accuser" and Job's integrity to maintain his faith in God through immense suffering and pressure to curse the goodness of God. Through this state of brokenness in Job's life we see how God is profoundly able to bring glory to Himself through weak things putting to shame the things that are strong. It is an encouragement to think about how God used Job for His glory and how we should be prepared in our soul when we are given the gift to glorify God in our times of brokenness and weakness. In the book of Job the Lord says to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?" (Job 1:8).
