Descripción

The NFL Draft is officially in the books, and we’re breaking down everything from the Saints’ picks to the biggest surprises from around the league — including the shocking selection of Ty Simpson by the LA Rams. We discuss what we liked, what confused us, and which teams may have crushed the draft weekend overall. We also touch on the latest MLB storylines, but the heart of this episode belongs to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Travis gets a little emotional as his Kings are eliminated by the Avalanche, while Patrick shares an interesting take on Colorado sweeping their way through the first round. Outside of sports, Travis recaps a recent concert experience with Todd, including seeing Louisiana favorites Better Than Ezra live. Patrick wraps up the show with a quick recap of another busy year working the Zurich Classic, along with some stories from tournament week. episode Small Craft Advisory: Destihl Brewery Oktoberfest Märzen artwork

Small Craft Advisory: Destihl Brewery Oktoberfest Märzen

Destihl Brewery steps into the spotlight on this episode of Small Craft Advisory as the crew cracks open their Oktoberfest Märzen for review. While there was nothing particularly wrong with this beer, it ultimately left the guys wanting a little more from the experience. The caramel and malt notes were definitely present, but beyond that, the flavor profile felt pretty limited. Words like “average” and “it’s fine” became common throughout the review, and the final scores reflected that overall feeling. This isn’t a bad beer by any means — it’s drinkable, smooth, and true to style — but most of the crew agreed it’s probably not one they’d actively seek out again. That said, Destihl Brewery still has everyone interested in trying more from their lineup in the future because there’s clearly potential there. episode Small Craft Advisory: Saloon Door Smooth Operator artwork

Small Craft Advisory: Saloon Door Smooth Operator

On this episode of Small Craft Advisory, the crew cracks open another one from Saloon Door Brewing—the Smooth Operator Nitro Porter—and let’s just say… expectations were sky high after how much the guys loved Fluffy Nuts. Good news: this one delivers in a big way. From the rich, inviting aroma to the smooth, velvety nitro pour, Smooth Operator hits all the right notes. At 7%, it brings a perfect balance of flavor and drinkability, making it dangerously easy to keep going back for more. The crew breaks down everything from the chocolatey depth to the creamy mouthfeel—and spoiler alert—this might be the highest-scored beer we’ve had yet. If you’re a Porter fan (or even if you’re not), this is one you’ll want on your radar. Small Craft Advisory: Saint Arnold Brewing Hefeweizen

The crew is back with another installment of Small Craft Advisory, and this week we’re pouring up a classic: Saint Arnold Brewery’s Hefeweizen. Known for its smooth, refreshing profile and signature wheat beer character, this one sparked some solid conversation around the table. Overall, the beer landed well with the group, delivering easy-drinking vibes and a balanced flavor that fits the style. Travis was especially impressed, handing out the highest score of the episode, while Mike couldn’t quite get past the aroma, making him the lone holdout this week. Love it or not, it definitely got people talking—which is exactly what we’re here for. Crack one open and drink along with us as we break it all down. episode The Sleepover Line | EP 67 artwork

The Sleepover Line | EP 67

We kick off this episode by diving into the electric start of the MLB playoffs, breaking down early storylines, surprise performances, and who’s already making a statement in October. From there, we shift to the ice as the Stanley Cup playoffs loom, previewing the contenders, potential matchups, and what has us most excited as the postseason approaches. We round out the sports segment by looking ahead to next week’s NFL Draft, discussing key prospects, team needs, and a few bold predictions that could shake things up on draft night. Stepping away from sports, Todd and Travis recap their recent trip to Minnesota, sharing highlights from the sights they saw and, of course, the breweries they explored along the way. Sean then gives his take on the new Mario movie, offering a mix of nostalgia and honest critique. To close things out, Patrick and Russell recap Hogs for the Cause 2026, telling some hilarious stories from the weekend and proudly announcing that Russell and Team Porkchopitoulas took home a special award at this year’s event.
