On today's WBFO Brief... "Mayor Byron Brown confirms his intention to seek re-election by a write-in campaign. Meanwhile, the Erie County Democratic Committee has met with India Walton, who defeated Brown in the party’s primary this week, to pledge support in advance of November’s general election. State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli discusses the state’s finances, post-COVID, during a visit to North Tonawanda. The Buffalo Beauts women’s professional hockey team has a new owner. And Governor Cuomo is being urged to use executive powers to raise the state’s minimum wage for workers serving food and drinks."
