Themes in Theme Parking - Part 2

Welcome back!!! In this episode we continue our exploration of the eight different theme ideas that we have come up with thus far. In the first episode we covered four ideas and in this episode we tackle 4 (and a half) more. These ideas include my personal favorite The Main Frame (a world inside a computer), The Box (a land devoted to board games), The Clock (a world exploring time) and The Body (a land devoted to the human body). But wait, didn't I say 4 and a half. Listen as we come up with a new idea right on the spot! You will have to tune in to learn what this capital idea is.

Themes in Theme Parking - Part 1

We are finally ready to start talking about the themes that our theme park will have. This is the first part of a two-part episode that will discuss four different theme ideas we have contrived. The discussion explores rides, attractions, food, experiences and concepts that these areas would possess. Join us to hear more about these themes which include: Timeless Tales (a magical library), Subterra (an original underworld), Candyland (a tasty and joy-filled land) and also a land too be named later that explores the four core elements of earth, wind, fire and water. These are just the first four ideas that we have come up with and the next episode will contain four more. PLUS: We share a fantastic idea that was dreamed up by one of our devoted listeners.

We are back! After a little break we are going to be releasing a couple episodes just after the new year. In those episodes we will be exploring 8 different themes we have come up with for our theme park. Join us January 4th when we dive back into building a theme park together.

We Went to Disneyland and Learned...

We went to Disneyland for Eleanor's birthday! As we enjoyed our time, Zoe and I made some observations. We thought you would enjoy hearing them and that  we also know these observations will help us in our endeavor to design and build a theme park. During this episode we also introduce you to a tool that we are using to design and visualize the park called Planet Coaster [https://www.planetcoaster.com/]. This tool is a video game that you can also play and begin to let your imagination run wild with.
