In Psalm 132, we see the longing of God’s people for His presence — and the reminder that His presence dwells where His people make room. This episode explores the call to prepare a place for the Lord in our daily lives, and the overflowing promises God gives when we do.

EP.135 - Boasting Only in Him

In Psalms 131 we see that spiritual maturity means laying pride aside, quieting our hearts, and learning to rest in the Lord. Let’s look at the danger of making testimonies about ourselves, the foolishness of boasting in what only God could accomplish, and the sure hope found in trusting Him forever.

In Psalm 130 we see a believer crying out from the very depths of sorrow, yet clinging to the God who hears, forgives, and redeems. This episode walks through the raw honesty of the Psalmist’s plea, the hope found in God’s unfailing mercy, and the promise that even the longest night will give way to morning. It’s a reminder that in every season of heaviness, the Lord is near, His Word is sure, and His redemption is plenteous for all who wait on Him.

In Psalms 128 & 129 we see the two sides of the Christian life—blessing and persecution. Walking with God brings steady, meaningful blessing, but it also invites hardship. Yet in both, God is present, sustaining His people and reminding us that the greatest blessing is not just what He gives, but that He never leaves us.
