Descripción

In “Disciples Serve Joyfully,” we explore Jesus’ countercultural vision of greatness through Matthew 20:20–28, where leadership is defined not by power, but by humble service. This message invites us to reflect on how joy is found not in recognition, but in faithfulness. Grounded in the promise of 1 Corinthians 15:58, we are reminded that no act of service offered in Christ’s name is ever wasted. Wherever you find yourself on the journey of discipleship, this sermon encourages steadfast faith, joyful obedience, and a life shaped by love in action.

Episode 34: Not An Island

We all see the world through our own lens — shaped by assumptions, experiences, and quick judgments. But what if what we perceive isn’t the full story? This week, we begin a new series, “From Perception to Perspective,” by stepping into Gospel of John 9:1–12 — the story of a man born blind. When the disciples encounter him, they immediately ask, “Who sinned?” They see a problem to explain. But Jesus sees something greater — a life through which God’s work will be revealed. In this first message, “Not an Island,” we explore how easy it is to label others or even ourselves based on what we think we see. Yet Jesus challenges those assumptions and invites us into a deeper truth: what looks like isolation isn’t always disconnection. What looks like limitation may actually be the beginning of transformation. Join us as we begin this journey from perception to perspective — and discover how Christ reshapes the way we see God, others, and ourselves.
