Week 5 Weigh-In Monday: Stupid Scale

Week 5 of Weigh-In Monday and today’s truth is… the scale and I are not friends right now. 😂 My framework is BMMT: Body. Mind. Movement. Truth - Be Mighty! And the truth is, I had pizza again… and yes, I also had a small mix of Garrett’s cheese and caramel popcorn. Yep. I said it. So when I got on the scale, I felt frustrated. I felt disappointed. And honestly, I had one of those moments where I wanted to blame myself, the pizza, the popcorn, and the scale all at the same time. But here’s the other truth: I have still been showing up. I’ve been working out, building muscle, and focusing on my arms, thighs, and core. So even when the scale is acting stupid, I’m reminding myself that progress is not always measured by a number. Day 30 of 30: I Made It - But I’m Not Done... Just Breathe!

Day 30 of 30 is here... and I made it! This is Intentional Tuesday and I used my Breathing Coach as my workout, and I celebrated with going out to dinner.... oh yes I did. But the final day of posting every single day for my 30-day Rethinking Weight challenge isn't over... it just diminishes a little, and honestly? This was about so much more than working out or posting everyday. It was about showing up when I was tired. Showing up when I was sore. Showing up when I didn’t feel like it. Showing up when the scale did what the scale wanted to do. Showing up anyway. I completed the 30-day challenge, but I am not done.
