nature's pace

waking up to SNOW in Vancouver BC, I am inspired to move at nature's pace in all that I am, and do. Not rushed, but simply embracing + enjoying the different rhythms life comes at, just like the pace of the snow falling from the sky :) let us keep doing what is NATURAL for us humans hehe. Patience baby

A morning ep inspired by Insight Timer's ~ Jonathan Lehmann "Morning Meditation with Music". In his meditation he mentions an affirmation, "I cultivate patience and by doing so I also cultivate self confidence" and it made me pause and think about how these 2 things are connected, as well as all the other beautiful things patience can be helping us cultivate in our lives.. perhaps some even unknowingly :) Happy Saturday everyone!! xx -Mitra

does it need to be on my mind right now?

I was just walking home from my gym realizing I was disconnected from my surroundings, living in my mind, filled with many thoughts from a full day. I catch myself asking "does this need to be on my mind right now"? and what I really seek is to simply connect with the present moment right in front me, the nature right in front of me.. and the peace that awaits right in front of me.. as I bring my awareness fully to all that surrounds me <3 Happy recognizing where your awareness truly wants to be :) What's coming up for you? xx- Mitra
