Wildly Her
In this episode, I'm talking about the roles children are assigned in narcissistic family systems. We break down a little bit about the scapegoat, the golden child, and the ones caught quietly in the middle who learned to survive by becoming invisible. These roles were never our identity… but many of us grew up believing they were. We explore how narcissistic parents project their own wounds, expectations, and need for control onto their children, shaping the way we see ourselves long after childhood ends. From the pressure of perfection to the pain of blame and invisibility, these survival roles often follow us into adulthood and impact our relationships, self-worth, voice, and sense of belonging. But healing begins when we realize we were never meant to live inside the role assigned to us. TRIGGER WARNING: ABUSE AND TRAUMA We'd love your feedback. Your voice matters here.
