Your Peace at Your Pace
In this episode, I shared a recent experience that challenged my preconceived notions and led to some profound, ongoing reflections. On my way home from work, I revisited a podcast I'd previously dismissed due to its style, which felt too "loud" for my preference. I also found myself grappling with its somewhat "clickbait" title, something I generally despise for its manipulative feel. Yet, a gentle inner voice encouraged me to be open, and what I discovered was a surprisingly rich and valuable conversation, particularly around dating for women over 40. This experience became a powerful reminder that my own rigid opinions can sometimes limit me from receiving wisdom and inspiration from unexpected sources. It also sparked a deeper look at my own tendencies, including a touch of jealousy towards those who confidently share their convictions, and the liberating power of embracing vulnerability and celebrating personal victories, no matter how they arrive.
