Ep.12-Why Suffering?

Good day all, Welcome back. I know it's been a little while but I'm glad to be rolling out with another episode. Praise God! I hope that in this episode, you come out with a deeper understanding of suffering in this world. We live in a sinful fallen world full of chaos, destruction, and suffering. Why so much of this, where did this come from, and is there any comfort from this? None of us want to suffer, I don't know about you, but I tend to try and stay away from any suffering, BUT God is Sovereign and He will do as He pleases. He is Ruler over all and He calls the shots. We know that for believers, suffering is meant for our good, our conformity to Christ, and His ultimate Glory! We are to count it all Joy when going through various trails as James tells us. And in the book of Job, we see Job suffered because God allowed him to. But as we'll see it was all for Job's good and God's Glory. Christ suffered in our place, And is our ultimate example of the Goodness and Glory of God! Until next time, Grace and Peace y'all.

Ep.11-Would you consider yourself a "good" person?

Grace & Peace y'all. What is happening? It's been a while. I hope and pray all of you are doing well. Question, are you a "good" person? I think most of us would say so, right? What makes a person "good"? How do we know if we really are "good"? Most importantly, what does Scripture say a "good" person is? and is there a Standard above us that would suggest or say that we are "good"? I hope that got you thinking! In this episode, I do my best to give such an answer according to The Word of God, because He is The Standard of Good. And let's face it y'all, we compare our "goodness" to the next person, am I wrong? But what about comparing our "good" to God's? Can we obtain such Goodness? I believe Mark 10:17-31 gives us a good description of what and who is "good". And if Scripture is the Authority, then what or who can we trust to dictate our "goodness"? I hope that this episode may give you that answer. Read both the Mark passage I referenced and Romans 3 and see if the Lord guides you to the answer. Ep.10-Communicable Attributes of God and His creation!

What is going on everyone? God bless and hope you all are doing well. A few weeks ago, I had laid out an episode giving a brief discussion on the Incommunicable Attributes of God and I hope you all found that informative. In this episode I do my best to lay out w/o being too in depth of the Communicable Attributes of God. Though God does share them with us, He is Perfect and Holy, we are not, we are fallen. We, as His creation(Genesis 1:26-27) represent Him here on earth. Though not perfect due to The Fall(Genesis 3), we are still created in His Image. We share some traits of God. God is Love(1 John 4), so we know how to love(again not in perfection as He does). God is a Jealous God, so we get jealous, God is Patient, He is very, very Patient, we can be but that pales in comparison with His Patience, etc..As the crown of His creation, we are made with dignity, value, worth and respect. All of humanity is regardless of appearance, statue or location. No one is to be treated differently. He also created us to Worship Him, that is His Will for us. As I dive into this, I pray that His Spirit would begin to witness to you His Love for you and your need for Salvation(John 3:16-21). We as His creation should be driven by His Word because it is His Word that is Truth. Love you all. P.S. There were a few moments were the outside noise was kicking in. Ep.9-What happened at the Oscars?

What is going on everyone? God bless and hope all is well. I was not trying to get in with the "all in" about what happened at the Oscars. I do not watch the Oscars, I find no pleasure in watching it. I honestly think it's a superficial praise of men and woman. There's no fidelity in it. It's pure entertainment. Not saying that entertainment is bad, but for me personally, I don't care for the Oscars. But coming from a Christian perspective, I believe we can all learn from what took place there. I watched the segment of what people are calling "the slap around the world". I'm not for violence at all. This is shameful. But there's always an area for growth and that's what I'm looking to get out there, a desiring growth for The Truth of God's Word. Ep.8- The Incommunicable Attributes of God!

Good day to all. God bless you and pray that all of you are doing well. Before you look at the length of this episode and fell the urge to run away, I ask that you reconsider and stay and listen. This is by far the longest episode I've done, but I want to deliver clarity on Who God is. We could never in our finite minds understand God and All That He Is. But we should want to study and want to know Him, and I hope you all do. So I ask that you grab some snacks and enjoy. Though I'm not a scholar, I don't have a degree in Theology, I enjoy this and I want others to as well. I Love the Lord and the things of Him. In today's episode, I dive into discussing some of the attributes of God that He only possesses. It is what makes God, God! Though we do share some of His attributes, they are not ours but shared by Him. These attributes are solely His. He is Holy and therefore should be regarded as such.
