The ACT and SAT have been aligned to Common Core and are not longer aptitude tests for college, but have become graduation tests for high school, merely testing the content learned. In contrast, the CLT exam specifically distinguishes itself as a college aptitude test using materials worth reading that have no agenda other than expanding the mind.
