Hayward, California legend Spice 1 offered listeners a glimpse into his storied career and creative process while appearing on the Conversations With Chad podcast. Spice 1’s new album, Platinum OG 2, was released through Elder Entertainment. It is an 18-track project with an impressive roster of collaborators, including golden age icon CL Smooth, Griselda Records‘ Conway the Machine, fellow Bay Area legend B-Legit, and lyrical powerhouse Kxng Crooked. During the podcast, Spice 1 delved into the intricacies of crafting Platinum OG 2, offering insights into his songwriting approach and recording techniques. The conversation took a nostalgic turn as Spice 1 reflected on his deep-rooted connection with the late Tupac Shakur.
