A few of the top things that make it difficult to lose weight: • Past dieting • Insulin resistance • Doing the wrong type of diet • Not doing intermittent fasting (or not applying it correctly) • Not getting enough sleep • Existing health problems But there is a big thing that can affect weight loss that I've never talked about before: your genes. There are many different positive and negative things that can affect your genes. Within certain individuals, there are variations of genes that act differently. These variations can cause some people to burn fat fast and others to lose weight slowly. These genetic variations aren't errors. They're just things that happened within our genetics long ago that may have even been survival advantages but don't help us in our current environment. Weight loss tips for those who can't lose weight: 1. Give it more time 2. Be more strict with your carb intake 3. Fast for longer 4. Completely cut out sugar, get into a deep level of ketosis, and consume nutrient-dense foods 5.
