Recognized as one of the most well-known Filipino-American Freestyle & Dance recording artists & songwriters, she remains an active LIVE touring stage performer from the San Francisco Bay Area.  She first made her mark with her breakout debut single “Hard to Get” (released under the alias The S Factor), which charted on the Billboard Hot Dance Maxi-Singles Sales Chart (Top 40), establishing her early impact on the dance music scene and solidifying her place in the genre’s legacy. Episode 194 - DJ Evil Dee (of Black Moon & Da Beatminerz)

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2513277/fan_mail/new] On this episode, I have the honor of sitting down with hip hop architect, DJ and legendary producer DJ Evil Dee, one-half of the iconic Beatminerz production team and a founding member of Black Moon. As the mastermind behind some of the most influential albums in rap history, including Enta Da Stage and Dah Shinin', DJ Evil Dee helped define the gritty, bass-heavy New York sound that continues to inspire generations of producers and emcees. Through his work alongside his partners at Duck Down Records, he has played a major role in building one of independent hip hop's most respected legacies, helping launch and elevate artists whose impact is still felt throughout the culture today. More than just a producer, Evil Dee is a DJ, radio personality, music historian, and true student of sound—a walking music encyclopedia whose passion extends far beyond hip hop. Fans and critics alike praise his production for its timeless drums and unmistakable ability to capture the raw essence of rap while remaining musically rich and innovative. In this conversation, we discuss the creation of classic records, the evolution of Da Beatminerz sound, the enduring legacy of Duck Down, and his lifelong love affair with music.
